Bruce, My dollbaby was jammin’, as were Rod and Rich, and of course, Kevin belted them out like a champ as usual.

I had a silly, loud, fun time and I feel better than I have in weeks! I needed the lift. I am quite an attention getter, too, and that makes you feel like a million bucks too!

I could have been bad, but that isn’t like me.

Miss you Love

My furry son was sick for three weeks. He was a sweet sick boy. A quick downturn and I was taking him to a local vet, who said it was a severe infection and his heart was weakening, But gave me lasix and tetracycline and feeding orders, but took no blood urine or stool sample. He sent me home, with Blue. By the next week, the Chesapeake bay retriever / shepherd mix was doing marginally better, (force feeding does that) so I took him back to the same vet, and thought since he was hanging on, perhaps more effort would be put into finding the issue. That was Thursday night.  This time I was given just the lasix(water pills) and sent on home with Blue. By Saturday morning, my sweetie was vomiting and could not eat anything. He was even vomiting after drinking water. I called a higher end veterinary clinic and was given an appointment first thing Monday.

They admitted him IMMEDIATELY. Within 5 hours I had a phone call. They had run an extensive battery of tests. 1. blood, urine, fine needle aspirate. He was showing signs of cancer, which was more like reality than weak heart and water pills. I gave them permission to do everything in their power to figure out where Blue stood, and he was given IV fluids and steroids, (yes they are counter indicated in cancer, but they are needed if breathing is nigh impossible) and antibiotics. They kept him overnight Monday, and the next day, more tests were done. By evening, we were certain it was either leukemia, or lymphoma or BOTH, although his fine needle aspirations were full of smudge cells, and pretty unidentifiable. The vet told me we could bring him home, even though he was not eating, if I needed to and she would prescribe prednisone. But she was not happy with that, and neither was I. He would starve. Not fair. This morning, Mike and I went to the office and held onto our dog as he fell asleep. We loved him out loud until he was gone, and then brought him home and buried him. His pain is over. I made the right decision. I pray. Goodbye BLUE… I Love You.

A couple need armpit seams but are otherwise FOs.

But I have a deadline to meet. A baby is coming in ten or less days. I have to make a bonnet, Not started, A february baby sweater, and a blanket.

This is our family dynamic. Stay at home mom, Second shift working Step dad, Sixteen year old absent daughter, {Danielle}(lives with her mom), Fourteen year old, Varsity Football playing freshman punk, {Brenden}Ten Year old sweet, but sour daughter in fourth grade{Shanna}, Nine year old Sweet and sweeter daughter in fourth grade{Brianna}, 7 year old Caveman daughter in first{Sheaden}.

Here is our housing situation.. We reside in a 50 foot, three bedroom doublewide, on a Lovely four acres. The girls share a room. Boy has his own. The laundry is about 14 loads a week.

We Have at least 9 practices a week to transport the kids to. Brianna is in colorguard, Brenden in football. I live at elevation 2000 ft above sealevel and the school is at about 1400 ft above sea level. I drive an older 6 cylinder minivan. The Gas mileage is Atrocious. We are paying upwards of $3.50 a gallon for gas.

I am in the van as much as not.

The kids have no built in help. {except Bri}
I wrote them lists and the will follow them, or they will have no (NO) privledges.

The best benifit so far this early in the game… I have not yelled since lists were made..

Michael and I celebrated our one year anniversary, and we had a wonderful weekend. We went to Jamestown, NY to shop, and then we came back local and stayed here.

I am not telling what we did there, but I will tell you that the breakfast was out of this world! a sausage quiche and homemade muffins and fresh made juice! The innkeepers are wonderful people who made us feel right at home.

I am working on financing for either another home, or to put a walk in basement under my house.. in order to double our space and our return. I need room for mom and a family of growing kids! 3 bedrooms AIN’T cutting it.

So as I search for rag rug instructions to complete my new americana prim dining room, I am saying later…
